Based on a famous, but unverifiable, quote from Machiavelli, “it is double pleasure to deceive the deceiver,” is an multi-disciplinary project that discusses, analyzes, and performs “fake news.” It is comprised of actions and collections of breaking news. The work is comprised of two sections:

  1. Participatory art where people are invited to engage  “fake news” through a series of public, choreographed, and improvisational actions. Documentation of this portion of the project can be found here.
  2. A visual collection of simultaneous breaking news headlines from multiple outlets in order to evaluate what constitutes “fake” versus “real” news. Documentation of this portion of the project can be found here.
