Select Fair will be transforming Miami Beach’s Catalina Hotel into art decadence next week during Art Week. In addition to showcasing artists, galleries, and collectives in over 60 spaces, they have joined forces with PSPS to provide visitors a trip on the Hypnotic Circle – a 1960’s London bus ride/ art performance that travels between the Catalina and the Wynnwood District. How cool is that?
Here are some of the artists I am looking forward to seeing:
Anonymous Gallery will be parking their Airstream outside the hotel. Not sure who they will be showcasing, but I like the idea! Can’t wait to see the South Beach crowd interact with some high-brow, Bowery artists.
Looks like there will be some installation work from NYers Somaphony (below)
and Dianne Smith (below)
Bobbi Meier (Chicago) will be there (below).
Florida Artist David Burton will be there, as well. (below)
Select Fair is at the Catalina Hotel (1732 Collins Avenue) in Miami Beach. Hours are 11 – 8 (12/6 – 12-8) and 11 – 6 (12/9).

Manneken Press will also be at SELECT showing contemporary prints, including very fresh work by Carlos Andrade. We will also have prints and a new sculpture by Gary justis and works by glass artist Carmen Lozar. Come see us in room 101!
Awesome! Look forward to seeing you there!
